Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental health

If you’ve experienced trauma—whether from an accident, a crime, a natural disaster, or a painful childhood experience—you may feel like you’re stuck in survival mode. Moving forward can seem impossible when the weight of the past feels so heavy. I understand how overwhelming this can be, and I’m here to help you navigate through it and heal from it.

I use various therapeutic techniques like CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Progressive Counting, and Havening to help you process trauma at your own pace. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel understood and supported. Together, we’ll build coping skills and work through your pain, so you can go from just surviving to truly thriving.

For over 12 years, I’ve been passionate about providing compassionate, trauma-focused care. My work has taken me to the Rosebud and Pine Ridge reservations, and I’ve also spent time helping those in homeless communities. These experiences have shaped my understanding of trauma and resilience, which I bring into every session.

I’m also certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, using the healing power of horses to support emotional growth and recovery. My approach is deeply rooted in unconditional acceptance—I’m here to listen, guide, and empower you on your journey to healing. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy not available through Foundations Counseling.

When I’m not working, I find peace spending time with my grandchildren, being in nature, or working with horses. These passions keep me grounded, and I love integrating them into my therapeutic practice to help my clients find their own sense of calm and connection.
